Established in 1999 R M Developments Ltd is a local family based building contractor providing quality construction services for a broad range of commercial and private clients in Cornwall. Our expertise has been gained through experience and skills learnt in a variety of contract types to include new build, traditional and sensitive refurbishment, alterations and extensions, planned and reactive building maintenance works and industrial buildings. R M Developments Ltd has successfully carried out major contracts for Cornwall Council, Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust, local schools, care homes, commercial and private property developers and high street retailers amongst others.
We are a Company that values and trains our committed staff and have successfully achieved the Investors In People Award in July 2000. The required standards have continued to be maintained and the award retained to date through reassessment. R M Developments Ltd is currently developing quality, health and safety, environmental management and business continuity systems according to British Standards IS0 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 and BS 25999. The company is committed to exploring areas of improvement in these important areas for the benefit of our existing and future customers, staff, the environment and the community.
As a Main Contractor we work with reliable subcontractors with which we have formed longstanding relationships and a mutual understanding of the high standards expected on each project. R M Developments Ltd has carefully managed environmentally sensitive projects in conservation areas and undertaken resource saving projects to include installation of photovoltaic slates for electricity production, solar panels to heat water, wood pellet burning boiler systems and ground source heating. This has helped widen our knowledge and practical experience in resource efficiency and sustainability.
